Computer and Telecom Protection

Engineered Systems to Protect Electronics

Compact systems protect cabinets and other small spaces.

Lane's sytems are custom-designed for each application.

Data processing facilities and telecommunications vaults are susceptible to fires caused by overheated components and faulty wiring, often starting in hidden locations such as under-flooring or in equipment cabinets.  Fires may also be caused by arson, corporate sabotage, or power surges.  The costs resulting from a fire can be huge in terms of the loss of valuable data and downtime, so a complete fire protection system should include sprinklers to protect the structure, along with a highly sensitive fire detection system coupled with a clean agent fire suppression system.

Clean Agent Fire Suppression

Common fire suppression agents such as water and dry chemical can damage circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components, causing more damage than the fire itself.  FM-200® and other clean agents quickly extinguish the fire without causing additional damage to sensitive equipment.

Alarm Systems

The Kidde OrionTM uses an air sampling technique and laser particle counting technology to detect highly diluted smoke.  This sensitivity enables facility managers to discover and correct potentially disastrous fire situations before they get started, often without activating the facility's fire suppression system.

Clean Agent Portable Extinguishers

Supplement your facility's built-in systems with clean agent portable extinguishers such as Ansul's Cleanguard®.
